About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting 18 month contract opportunity for a Learning Practitioner to join our Maritime team based in Adelaide at our Osborne Naval Shipyard.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
As the Learning Practitioner, you will be responsible for facilitating project-specific training, including inductions and compliance training, while managing the coordination and administration of training for employees and contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate project specific training including site inductions, ship onboarding induction and compliance training
- Coordinate employee and contractors of the program including all related administration and record keeping
- Liaise with training providers and stakeholders to arrange training and coordinate the booking process
- Undertake all assigned training activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards
- Support the development of training related documentation in accordance with appropriate standards
- Assist in development of project infrastructure, such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development
About YOU
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of training
- Experience in coordination and administration activities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- An ability to adapt to working in different environments
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with employees at all levels
- High level of attention to detail especially in data management
- Eligibility to hold a Baseline defence security clearance
