Through effective and efficient setting and delivery of operational objectives manage designated corporate governance activities, including but not limited to CHQ HHS' systems of document governance and quality management (including internal control) to promote transparency, ensure accountability, optimise decision making and drive organisational maturity.
Evaluate the performance and assess the maturity of document governance and quality management systems to validate the effectiveness of practice, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver continuous quality improvement.
Comprehend industry standards and apply best practice to ensure risk and compliance systems remain contemporary and fit-for-purpose.
Navigate highly complex issues and effectively manage change (planning to delivery) to support maturity of risk and compliance systems.
Provide high-level advice to the Director, Corporate Governance and Risk to support the design, performance and improvement of corporate governance functions with emphasis on attaining integrated governance.
