Role Overview
As the NDIS Intake & Operations Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for new participant enquiries and referral partners. You will manage the intake and onboarding process, maintain accurate records, support day-to-day operations, and assist with compliance-related tasks. Your role is essential to ensuring a smooth experience for participants and supporting the wider coordination team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage participant intake, including responding to enquiries and coordinating onboarding documentation
- Receive and process referrals from external agencies, families, and support providers
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records in internal systems
- Assist with NDIS compliance tasks, including data reporting and audit preparation
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Coordination of Supports team
- Liaise with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and information flow
- Support the implementation of internal systems, procedures, and quality frameworks
- Maintain clear and professional communication with participants and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in administration or operations within the NDIS, disability, health, or community services sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and time management
- A participant-centred approach and a strong understanding of inclusive practice
Required Qualifications and Checks
- Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Business Administration, Community Services, Disability, or a related field (desirable)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – “Quality, Safety and You”
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence (preferred)
