About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to oversee and support the smooth running of services across Darwin and surrounding rural areas. This role ensures high-quality support delivery in line with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational requirements, while fostering a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for both staff and participants.

Key Responsibilities
- Roster Management: Oversee and coordinate staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all services.
- Shift Oversight: Read and follow up on shift notes, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
- Incident Management: Respond to and follow up on incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation, reporting, and resolution.
- Staff Training & Development: Identify staff training needs and support the professional growth of the team.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure house environments remain compliant with NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation.
- Monitor staff compliance using the reporting system (notifications are provided before compliance lapses).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding requirements.
- Support adherence to policies covering incident reporting, restrictive practices, privacy, duty of care, and participant rights.
- Resource Management: Regularly check that all necessary resources are available at each house.
- Travel: Travel within Darwin and rural areas to provide onsite support, compliance checks, and staff engagement.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a coordination, team leader, or service delivery role within the disability, community, or aged care sector (NDIS experience highly regarded).
- Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality & Safeguards, and compliance frameworks.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory).
- Current National Police Check (mandatory).
- Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card) – as required in the NT.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Darwin and rural areas.
- Full working rights in Australia (mandatory).
- Relevant qualifications in disability, community services, or related fields (desirable).
Salary
- Salary is negotiable, aligned with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) and dependent on skills and experience.
