About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities, providing essential support to various departments, and enhancing overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and manifesting.
- POD management.
- Branch customer service.
- Liaison with local staff, customers and receivers.
- Asset and pallet control.
- Time sheet management.
- Operational cost reporting.
- General administration duties.
- Ensuring exceptional levels of visibility and service are maintained at all times.
Key qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in an administration role, preferably in the logistics or transport industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and logistics software systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, team members, and management.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
All candidates will be subject to a Drug and Alcohol testing.
All candidates will need to supply a current Police Check.
