Applications are invited for the position of Operations Supervisor, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for rural construction projects, resealing program, the implementation of maintenance works on State Highway 12 and risk management surveillance on State Highway 12.

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Civil Construction and satisfactory experience and knowledge in the relevant fields of operation.
- Successful completion of an approved supervisors course
OR
Suitable experience; - NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent;
- Traffic Control Work Training Card (SafeWork NSW) and/or Certification;
- Copper Cable Location Certification;
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('white card'); and
- Transport for NSW Asset Inspectors Certificate.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in dealing with members of the public.
- Knowledge of information technology systems including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets and internet usage.
- Ability to accurately enter data as required by Transport for NSW Auditors and Surveillance Officers.
- Thorough working knowledge of Transport for NSW RMCC documentation.
Desirable Criteria:
Qualifications
- First Aid Certificate.
- Safe Work near Overhead Power Lines Certificate.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Professional/Specialist Band 3, Level 3, Grade 15. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,721.93 to $1,854.34 gross per week.
