Haileybury is seeking a proactive People & Culture Business Partner to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to lead and influence across a diverse portfolio, delivering hands-on strategic and operational support that drives engagement, performance and growth.

As a key member of the People & Culture team, you’ll work closely with senior leaders across multiple campuses to support activities aligned with the People & Culture annual cycle. You’ll also mentor team members, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to positioning Haileybury as an employer of choice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to deliver tailored People & Culture solutions aligned with school priorities.
  • Provide expert advice on performance management, workforce planning, talent development and employee relations.
  • Lead employee lifecycle processes in collaboration with P&C Advisors and Administrators.
  • Conduct investigations and grievance resolution with fairness and transparency.
  • Coach leaders to foster team engagement, wellbeing and performance.
  • Leverage HRIS and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor P&C team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
  • Strong generalist HR experience with deep knowledge of employment legislation and modern awards.
  • Capacity to establish credibility as trusted advisor to senior leaders, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, negotiate and build consensus
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a practical and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to lead change and deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.
