About the Opportunity

If this sounds like you, a rare opportunity exists for a positive, hands-on People and Culture Coordinator to join our team in this exciting and varied true generalist HR role where no two days are the same.

As a key member of the People and Culture team, you will be a trusted advisor across the organisation – supporting leaders and employees at all levels, providing generalist specialist advice and guidance on a range of people related matters across the full employee lifecycle including:

• Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Change Management
• Industrial Relations and award interpretation
• Undertaking investigations
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations and industrial instruments

You will also play a key role alongside the Executive Manager People and Culture, in delivering strategic projects including:

• Delivering initiatives to grow a values-driven, inclusive and engaged culture
• Preparing internal communications on key organisational initiatives
• Coordinating actions under the Gender Equality Action Plan
• Providing practical and timely advice to leaders on employee relations matters

What you need to Succeed

You’re a confident and proactive HR generalist with:

• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience working across a broad range of People & Culture functions, or related field
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
• The ability to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly, and take initiative
• A strong sense of privacy, confidentiality, professionalism and impartiality
• Genuine desire to contribute to a values-driven organisation that puts people at the heart of everything
