About the role and team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Reward Analyst to join our People & Culture team.
The Performance & Reward Analyst supports the review and implementation of performance and reward programs. This role works closely with the Performance & Reward Manager and the broader People & Culture (P&C) team to ensure reward strategies are data-driven, equitable, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
The P&C team includes P&C Business Partnering; P&C Operations; Talent Acquisition; Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing; Learning & Development; Performance & Reward; Early Careers; and Systems & Reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- coordinating the annual performance review and remuneration review processes, including benchmarking surveys and reporting;
- maintaining the Career Development framework and linkages with performance and other people programs;
- supporting the implementation, communication and engagement of performance management processes;
- submitting the remuneration benchmarking surveys; analysing data and preparing summary reports;
- preparing reports and presentations with quantitative and qualitative insights for internal stakeholders;
- monitoring legislative changes affecting remuneration and benefits and support compliance efforts;
- liaising with external providers to support reward initiatives;
- providing support to partners and employees regarding performance and reward related inquiries;
- participating in the development and delivery of training programs related to performance management and reward systems;
- supporting Employee Engagement including surveys and results presentations;
- conducting gender pay gap analysis;
- liaising with the Systems and Reporting team on the relevant systems and portal (i.e., Performance Leaders, CultureAmp and Hall & Wilcox intranet); and
- providing analytical support and ad hoc advice.
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- at least 2 years’ experience in a remuneration and benefits specialist role within professional services ideally with some exposure to the legal industry;
- degree-level education; Commerce or Business-related qualifications advantageous;
- excellent data analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel;
- ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations (PowerPoint) with clear insights and recommendations;
- understanding of performance, remuneration, and benefits;
- effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
- ability to build relationships across various levels of the organisation; and
- experience in professional services or legal sector (desirable).
