Job Description
The Placement Officer holds a vital position within Acknowledge Education (AE), overseeing the effective coordination of student placements into meaningful and compliant learning opportunities. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and a steadfast commitment to meeting regulatory standards
Qualifications
Coordinate Student Placements: Manage end-to-end placement processes including student interviews, document verification, matching students to agencies, and scheduling interviews using AE's placement systems.Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Review and verify student documentation to meet compliance standards and escalate issues such as placement breakdowns or at-risk students to the Course Coordinator.
Communicate Effectively: Maintain high-quality communication with students and agencies through calls, emails, Moodle, and AE platforms, including responding to queries and issuing placement confirmations and completion letters.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep all student, agency, and placement data up to date in AE systems (e.g. InPlace), support system efficiency initiatives, and participate in process improvement projects.
Support Student and Agency Satisfaction: Enhance satisfaction levels through responsive service, timely placement offers, and effective issue resolution, contributing to positive survey outcomes and agency relationships.
Additional Information
Experienced in Education or Customer Service: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in education or a customer-facing environment, with a demonstrated ability to support student or client needs effectively.Independent and Collaborative Worker: Proven capability to work autonomously while contributing positively to team goals in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
Organised and Communicative: Strong organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication to manage tasks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Tech-Savvy and System-Ready: Familiarity with placement management systems such as InPlace, and a willingness to undertake training on new platforms and technologies.
Compliance-Focused and Adaptable: Committed to regulatory compliance, with the flexibility to manage changing priorities and multitask under pressure.
