To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following key selection criteria for this role:
- PhD in chemistry, bio-chemistry, material physics, in particularly, opto-electronics and nanotechnology.
- Ability to undertake original research, as evidenced by timely and high-quality outputs.
- Willingness to contribute to seek research funding from external sources.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in organic and inorganic synthesis of hybrid nanoparticles, optical characterization of single nanoparticle spectroscopy.
- At least two years of postdoc experience with strong track records competitive for the ARC DECRA (or industry) fellowships.
- Previous experience in research in an area relevance to fluorescence microscopy, characterization, and single nanoparticle spectroscopy.
