The Office for Research oversees all aspects of research across RMH. The Office is central as an operating unit located within the dynamic Parkville Precinct in Melbourne. The Office Team enjoys a collaborative and inclusive working environment committed to supporting our precinct research community and the patients attending the precinct health services.
Your new role will:
- Provide an immersive work experience in all aspects of human clinical research with a focus on ethics, governance and contracting
- Be perfect for candidates aiming to enter the human research sector
- Substantially train you in regulatory and legal requirements applied to human research ethics, institutional research governance as well as operational compliance in the increasing complex clinical research sector
- Allow you to actively engage with RMH research personnel and companies that are developing new therapeutic goods in a supportive and service driven context.
About you:
- You will have an outgoing personality, be efficient and very interested in a career in clinical research
- Demonstrated a proactive approach to service and enjoy learning about making new therapeutic goods available to our health consumers
- Have an interest in health services, compliance and not be discouraged by process and procedures
- Are proficient with software, electronic communications, database entry with an immaculate attention to detail.
- Are prepared to work the majority of your time onsite.
