About the role:
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Process Coordinator to join the Kwinana and Mandurah Water Resource Recovery team and work across our metro resource recovery assets.
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong attention to detail and be responsible for the operation and coordination of works and treatment processes across our metro resource recovery assets and the Kwinana / Mandurah Wastewater Treatment sites and schemes, including the Kwinana Water Reclamation Plant which supplies recycled water to major industrial process facilities and customers.
Working safely and efficiently within Water Corporation guidelines and having a focus on compliance parameters in the role, you will be accountable for plant operation and monitoring, process and system investigation, fault diagnosis and reporting, data collection, and analysis of field samples and information.
What the role will involve:
• Operate, investigate, and troubleshoot wastewater, resource recovery and advanced treatment processes and assets.
• Collect wastewater and analyse samples.
• Isolation of processes and systems and cleaning of assets.
• Optimise the treatment processes.
• Coordinate activities and minor contracts with other teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Enter and manage data in various systems.
• Participation in planned and unplanned out of hours activities and participate in a standby roster once onboarding & training is completed.
• Incident response and contingency planning
Key skills & experience.
• Certificate II, III or IV or Diploma in related field
• Substantial experience in advanced water/ wastewater treatment, process operation, mining, or plumbing
• RO, membrane, advanced treatment, and recycled water experience.
• C Class driver’s licence, a HR licence is also desirable.
• Experience in water sampling and analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot wastewater and advanced treatment related issues.
• Experience using process control programs, i.e. Clear SCADA, Citect, view X
• Process driven with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Experience in managing stakeholders and managing minor contracts and works.
• A commitment to safety of yourself and your team.
