Your next career opportunity: As a Program Officer for Career Mentoring, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing students' employability through innovative mentoring programs. You'll leverage your expertise in stakeholder management to build strong relationships across the University, particularly with Faculties and Alumni Relations. Your data proficiency will be crucial in optimising program performance and driving continuous improvement. This role offers you the chance to directly impact student success while honing your program management skills in a dynamic higher education environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Career Mentoring Programs: Support and develop initiatives linking students to alumni and industry for career exploration and professional networking.

  • Program Management: Coordinate and support a range of mentoring programs, alumni panels, and employability events, ensuring high-quality delivery and student engagement.

  • Manage Digital Platforms: Develop expertise in the Chronus mentoring platform, handling configuration and user support.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: B uild and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders across Student Success, Faculties, Advancement, and student and alumni audiences.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to innovation and enhancement of practices based on data analysis and feedback.

  • Analyse and Improve: Contribute to data collection, analytics, and continuous improvement of mentoring practices and processes.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a skilled program manager with strong stakeholder engagement abilities, excellent data analysis skills, and experience in designing and delivering career mentoring or employability initiatives for tertiary students.

You may also have:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or have extensive relevant experience in career mentoring or employability initiatives.

  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing deadlines.

  • Have experience in stakeholder engagement and building effective networks.

  • Demonstrate service excellence and collaborative working skills.

  • Be competent in using online platforms and managing CRM systems.
