About the role
Our Project Management team have a 2 year fixed term opportunity for a Project Manager to be responsible managing complex capital projects across WA that meet Water Corporation’s operational objectives on time, budget, and within technical, safety, environmental and quality standards. Based in our Leederville office, this role is reporting to the Project Director - Assets Delivery.

What the role will involve
- Lead multi-functional project teams through the Asset Acquisition Process and coordinate the scoping, design, construction, commissioning, handover and the close out of projects
- Monitor, control, review and forecast project outcomes including time, cost and quality, reporting on the project outcomes and prepare progress reports
- Ensure project risks are captured, mitigation measures are in place and monitor and report on their effectiveness ensuring that issues are dealt with in a timely manner
- Negotiate and establish contracts to procure services, equipment and works to achieve project objectives.
- Assess and approve progress claims for payment and ensure contractor performance reports on time, cost, OSH, quality and environment are completed
- Regularly inspect construction sites and report variances on OSH, environmental and quality compliance with approved management plans
About you
You’ll have qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline, along with experience in a similar project management role delivering significant and complex capital projects and new assets. We require advanced knowledge of tendering, contract award and contract administration. Your previous experience supervising planning, design or construction teams, and excellent stakeholder management skills will ensure success in this role.
