Working within the Learning, Development and Safety unit within the Regions and Emergencies branch, the Project Officer Learning and Development Systems is responsible for the creation, development, maintenance and ongoing management of learning and development products in the new DEECA Success Factors LMS.
The role includes work in the development and implementation of training content, products and processes, as well as assisting the delivery of a range of training activities for the Biosecurity and Agriculture Services division and the broader Agriculture Victoria group within DEECA.
To perform effectively in this role, it is essential to have demonstrated skills in program management, prioritisation, and excellent conceptual skills. The successful applicant will have LMS and IT systems experience, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration to work across projects, teams, and units across BAS and Agriculture Victoria, as well as a high level of initiative and confidence when liaising with others.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or IT qualification or equivalent.
- Technical Learning Management System skills: understanding of and experience in Learning Management systems and/or understanding Success Factors LMS and BIRCH LMS.
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
