Join Deaf Connect as a Quality Management Coordinator and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement, compliance, and service excellence across our organisation. We’re offering either a Part-time or full-time, flexible opportunity based in our Brisbane office. Our hybrid model supports balance, with core in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
About the role:
As our Quality Management Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening and maintaining Deaf Connect’s Quality Management Systems. Working across the organisation, you’ll foster a culture of quality, accountability, and service excellence—supporting teams to take ownership and lead positive change.
This is a dynamic and collaborative role that combines coordination, audit readiness, system oversight, training, and privacy compliance—with exciting opportunities for growth into broader compliance and safeguarding functions.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Coordinating internal audits and preparing for external audits.
Overseeing quality systems such as Sharepoint and Donesafe.
Managing policy and document control processes.
Supporting staff training on quality frameworks and tools.
Acting as Privacy Officer—ensuring organisational compliance with privacy legislation.
Contributing to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and compliance initiatives.
About you:

A strong understanding of quality frameworks such as ISO 9001, NDIS Practice Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
Experience in coordinating audits, policy development, and document management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to work across all levels of an organisation.
A commitment to continuous improvement and inclusive practices.
Previous experience in a similar role in human services or NDIS sector (highly regarded
