Are you customer-focused, organised, and passionate about supporting independent liquor retailers? Metcash is seeking an IBA Member Services professional to join our high-performing team and help deliver exceptional service to our retail liquor banners across VIC.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the construction, administration, and communication of promotional activities, managing customer liaison, reviewing artwork, and supporting campaign execution. Your ability to coordinate effectively, manage timelines, and maintain high standards of service will directly impact the success of our independent retailers.
- Development and construction of retail promotions and programs for all IBA retail brands.
- Develop and construct 24 catalogue promotions per year to ensure a market and premium feel for Cellarbrations, The Bottle O and IGA
- Participate in quarterly member IBA meetings and Committee meetings
- Building of briefs, proofing of advertising material.
- Meeting the promotional and print deadlines and ensuring accurate information is produced within the agreed timelines.
- Engage with supplier partners to ensure timely submission of relevant information pertaining to the IBA programs including driving premium product submissions.
- Manage the timely delivery and communication of retail programs through to the State Operations team and our retail members
- Management and upkeep of all documents relevant to the IBA Retail Promotions Team and relevant admin duties.
- You will be responsible for general administration duties, responding to retailer and non-liquor trade queries via email, phone and collaborating with the national category team and state field operations team as required.
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise & manage workloads to achieve deadlines
- High level of attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and exciting environment
- Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint programs
