Administrator Schools Specialist – Townsville
Full-time | 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday
We’re looking for an experienced Administration Schools Specialist to join our Townsville team. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a busy role, and have a natural ability to connect with people, this could be the opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll support depot operations and be responsible for maintaining accurate records for students eligible for school transport. You’ll regularly engage with school students, administrators and principals – so confidence, clarity and a warm, professional manner are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing School Transport Assistance (STAS) and Smart Card applications
- Maintaining accurate student and school contact records
- Printing and distributing student passes and processing replacements/refunds
- Assisting with behaviour reporting and liaising with schools
- Responding to enquiries relating to eligibility, timetables, and school services
- Supporting the accounts team and general admin tasks
- Providing timely and accurate reports to your manager
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Previous administration experience
- Great attention to detail and time management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- The ability to gather and manage information efficiently
- Confidence working with a wide variety of people
