Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world’s airspace and provision of aviation rescue firefighting services at Australia’s busiest airports.
The Role & The Team
As a Simulator Support Officer, you will deliver simulation exercises within the Simulator by performing the role of a simulator pilot, simulator air traffic control and deliver coordination as other agencies. You will also contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative and high-quality competency-based delivery solutions to ensure effective and efficient training outcomes for operational air traffic control. You will ensure that compliance, safety, business, and regulatory requirements are met.
Training is a key enabler for ongoing workforce capability development in air traffic services and presents an exciting platform for innovation and new technologies.
Our team work within a fast paced and dynamic operational training environment where they have the ability to influence and contribute to the success of our ongoing training programs and project initiatives. You will be part of a small team responsible for the delivery of high-quality simulation services and related delivery outcomes. This is a 2-year Fixed Term Contract (full-time) located in Sydney.

Qualifications
Commencing base salary for this position is $81,230.00, with successful completion of a 12 week training course required to then move to the fully endorsed salary of $110,147.
