About the role
The Student Learning Support Officer plays a vital role within the school team. This position is primarily focused on providing support to students within the school.

- Demonstrated experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges.
- Ability to implement Individual Plans (IPs) and adjust learning activities under teacher guidance.
- Experience in providing one-on-one and small group support to students in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
- Knowledge of inclusive education strategies.
Desirable:
- Adanced training in diabetes management
- Certificate III in Education Support or similar
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
The successful applicant will possess or be willing to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check and undertake a pre-employment National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
