The Inhouse Stylist is responsible for creating on-brand, trend-relevant and innovative styling that elevates the Showpo brand across the ecommerce site. They will be responsible for prep & onset styling of all ecommerce shoots, occasionally supporting the creative team on content & campaign shoots. The ideal candidate will have their finger on the pulse of current fashion trends, understand our brand & liaise with the product & buying teams to align on bringing the vision for ranges & campaigns to life through the ecommerce styling. They will plan and concept styling boards and visions for each shoot, and ensure all execution is aligned with the brand direction & target customer.
Day to day, you will:
- Prepare looks for all catalogue and social shoots, ensuring all styling is on-trend, aligned with the brand direction & relevant categories
- Prepare products for catalogue shoots- ensuring garments are steamed, styled and ready to shoot
- Constantly sourcing & preparing styling concepts, including trend research
- Monthly meetings with key buying & product team members to discuss upcoming ranges, share feedback and ensure styling is aligned to the vision of buyers/designers
- Strong understanding of upcoming products, key best sellers & relevant accessories, regularly updating the styling racks to ensure that the best sellers and key pieces are being utilised
- Management of styling cupboard, ensuring all clothing and accessory styling pieces are regularly sourced and updated, and products used are in-stock and not on sale, and are either key sellers or seasonal trend pieces
- Stay ahead of trends and researches influencers/social feeds in order to regularly communicate with Product Team members on gaps you see in product (from a styling perspective)
- Product marketing assistance:
- Ghost image product selects (apparel & non-apparel)
- Assisting with product selects for trend-focussed EDMs
- Influencer Look book styling for brand campaigns & events
- Collating reshoot feedback & styling notes to refer back to as part of the constant improvement plan
Who are we looking for?:
- Experience in styling womens fashion eComm shoots
- Fast on their feet, able to maintain quality along with quantity in styling
- Constantly on top of latest trends and able to use inspiration in their styling
- Adaptable, flexible and able to translate others’ ideation into styling
- Basic Google spreadsheet understanding
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work autonomously and unsupervised
