Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop appropriate procurement methodologies and contracting options (including commercial arrangements) to optimise value-for-money, mitigate risks, and reduce costs of tendering to industry and the Commonwealth.
- Leading, or assisting with, tendering activities, and providing expert advice to Defence during those activities inclusive of contract variations and change proposal
- Governance improvements, innovation and improvement, relationship management in a multi-vendor environment
- Undertaking start to end ICT procurement process including: Developing, reviewing & amending procurement artefacts
- Developing Tender Evaluation Plans, Section 23, Source Evaluation Reports, Endorsements to Proceed and Approval to Proceed etc.
- Facilitating Government Furnished Material (GFx) procurements by liaising with Stakeholders to govern and support the CP & Cloud Contracts
- Manage Purchase Orders, invoices & invoice disputes
- Advise stakeholders on procurement & contracting risks
- Up-skill APS personnel on procurement compliances and framework
About You:
- Demonstrated 5+ year experience APS procurement and contract management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated experience in managing procurement and contract schedules
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Desirable Defence procurement and ICT asset management experience
