The Opportunity
Join Dexus as a key driver of our sustainability vision, where you'll support the Head of Sustainability in shaping and executing a strategy that delivers meaningful environmental, social, and commercial impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse teams—including Group Strategy, Risk, and Sector leads—to embed sustainability into the core of our business. You’ll lead planning, governance, and innovation initiatives, ensuring our sustainability efforts are aligned, accountable, and high-performing. What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Proven experience in sustainability strategy, governance, or program delivery within a complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead planning, budgeting, and risk management processes
  • Experience managing sustainability reporting and indices (e.g., DJSI, UN PRI)
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement

You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing empathy with commercial acumen to drive meaningful change. With strong planning and communication skills, you bring energy, structure, and leadership to every initiative you touch.
What You Bring
  • Degree qualification in sustainability, strategy, planning, or a related field
  • Proven experience developing and delivering sustainability strategies and programs that create commercial and social/environmental value
  • Strong governance experience, including preparing and overseeing Board-level documentation
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale sustainability change programs and managing ESG-related risks
  • Experience fostering innovation and enabling high-performing teams to deliver sustainability outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
