An exciting opportunity to be one of the first employees at the National Pickleball League at the super-site in South Melbourne.
The job description is as follows:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all members, NPL customers and corporate clients. This includes greeting customers at the front desk and throughout the venue, as well as responding to inbound inquiries via telephone and online.
- Responsible for front of house membership sales and casual use sales while on shift.
- Process casual bookings, equipment rental, merchandise sales and POS management while on shift.
- Ensure the smooth operation of court usage is maintained during shift. This includes managing start and end times of all court bookings, as well as special events.
- Assist the setup, running and packdown of special events such as corporate events, birthdays, media events etc.
- Represent the NPL brand in a positive manner at all times.
- Basic member database management.
- Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the NPL venue on a daily basis.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facilities to a high standard
- Maintain a high level of pickleball knowledge (such as rules, equipment comparison etc) at all times.
- Liaise with key stakeholders when directed by management
The role details include
- Casual employment (weekend work required)
- 6:00am to 11:00pm everyday (flexible shifts)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.35 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
