he Venue Manager is responsible for the overall operations, management, and success of our venue. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can lead a team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, manage financial performance, and maintain the highest standards of quality and service. The Venue Manager will oversee all aspects of the venue, including staff management, event coordination, inventory control, and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the venue, including front-of-house, kitchen, and bar.
- Ensure the venue is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and handle all disciplinary matters.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight:
- Manage the venue's budget, monitor expenses, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, labor costs, and food/beverage costs.
- Handle daily cash management, including till reconciliation and banking.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Customer Service & Sales:
- Ensure all guests receive a high level of service and a memorable experience.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain loyal ones.
- Work with the sales team to manage private event bookings and function inquiries.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national laws, including RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) regulations and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
