The Role
Supporting our Customer Service and Ramp teams at Sydney Airport, we are seeking a motivated Workforce Planning & Administration Officer based between our headquarters at Mascot and our Sydney Airport offices. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, is task-focused, and is eager to contribute to long-term operational success at Rex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff rosters, the rostering/payroll system, and employee leave planner.
- Provide Administrative and operational support to the Airport Manager.
- Support Rex Lounge operations across Terminal’s 2 & 3, including stock ordering/facilities management.
- Professionally manage all telephone calls.
- Establishing and maintain systems and processes for all administrative areas of the office/Airport facilities.
- Handle and store sensitive information appropriately.
- Prepare and maintain client airline billing records.
- General ad-hoc duties where assigned.
Key selection criteria:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Task driven and focused with an ability to time manage, prioritise and multi task.
- Experience with HumanForce Workforce Management preferred.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
- Sabre DCS experience beneficial but not essential.
- Strong administration skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Well presented with a professional and friendly mannerism.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous rostering and payroll experience required.
- Confidence and skill in handling employee and management enquiries.
- Well-presented, professional, and enthusiastic about supporting regional aviation.
