THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
This role presents an exciting opportunity to directly support one of our automotive clients. Reporting to the National Support Manager of the Fleet department, this role will primarily manage all administration (ordering, logistics, customer and dealer liaison) pertaining to key customers in Queensland. This is a part time (0.8), 6 month contract hybrid role based in Richmond, VIC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in partnership with the Ford Fleet Key Account Manager to support fleet accounts
- Administrative management of placed orders
- Forecast vehicle volumes on a monthly basis to ensure stock is available for incoming orders
- Build, code and contract vehicles, following order details
- Maintain the database of orders and issue weekly status reports
- Follow up all queries received regarding orders in a timely manner
- Liaise with dealers to source vehicles and understand status of orders
- Foster a healthy partnership with all stakeholders
ROADSIDE ASSETS
- Maintain the list of clients signed up to the Fleet Roadside Assist program
- Administrative management and processing of Roadside Assist files on a monthly basis
- Fulfilment of monthly issue of cards to clients
- Ensure RSA card stock levels are maintained
- Ensure estimates, purchases orders and invoices are active and processed in a timely manner
CUSTOMER TENDERS
- Support the broader department to complete Customer Tenders and Tender presentations as required
CUSTOMER MAILBOX
- Contribute to the Support team mailbox roster and respond to Ask Fleet emails as required in a timely manner
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CAPABILITIES
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales/account support or project coordination capacity
- Experience in the automotive industry, vehicle modifying and tender pitches would be highly desirable
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Word, Powerpoint, and advanced knowledge of Excel is essential
- A valid Victorian Driver's License is required
- Office hours of operations are 8.30am to 5.00pm
- The hybrid position, 2 days in Richmond, VIC and 2 days working from home
- Induction training will be conducted in the Richmond office. Flexibility will be required from time to time to be present in the office more than 2 days, and to ensure all projects are up to date
