Monk Ag Services is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our busy administration and finance team. This key role supports payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate financial statements in a fast-paced agricultural services business.
What You'll Do:
- Run end-to-end payroll for weekly pay cycles covering all employees across the business
- Calculate ordinary hours, overtime/penalties, casual loading, shift and public-holiday rates, allowances (e.g., travel, meal, leading hand, first aid), and leave accruals.
- Process commencements and separations (TFN, super choice, tax scale incl. Working Holiday Maker settings, final pays, leave payouts).
- Maintain master data: classifications, site/cost centre, award/EA mapping, bank/super details
- Process weekly payroll, superannuation, leave & deductions
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and supplier reconciliations
- Assisting in preparation of monthly reporting
- Managing and maintaining the companies asset register
- Maintain financial systems (Xero, iLeader) and general admin support
- Development and improvement of current systems and processes
Skill Level:
Certificate IV in Payroll Administration / Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
or
12 months work experience
What You'll Need:
- Payroll & accounts experience (Xero highly regarded)
- Strong organisational & communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Handle and process confidential information
- Current Driver’s Licence essential
- Main office located in Cobden, Victoria - Hybrid working conditions considered for right applicant.
