About the role
- Team Global Express is seeking an Administration Manager in Mount Isa. This is a Full Time Permanent Position, Monday to Friday.
- Ensure all branch administration and customer service tasks are attended to accurately, consistently and comprehensively.
- Supervise the local Administration team to ensure team productivity and performance meets business expectations and standards.
- Ensure that all data entry, processing and reporting tasks assigned to Administration are attended to promptly, accurately and within deadlines, with a focus on minimising errors and opportunities for revenue/cost leakage.
- Oversee branch administration functions to comply with operational standards and KPIs, including that all tasks are attended to promptly, accurately and in accordance with directives.
- Professionally and conscientiously lead, instruct, set an example for and support team members as delegated, including planning and facilitating ongoing training and development of team members to improve productivity, decrease error rates, promote cross-training, maintain morale, mitigate the impact of absences and reduce staff turnover.
- Liaise with the Branch Manager to identify and resolve any problems, performance failures and/or issues relating to procedures or personnel, and actively contribute to process enhancements and improvement.
- Diligently attend to in-person customer queries to facilitate the best possible customer experience.
- Align with Team Global Express’ quality standards, disciplines and policies at all times.
- Be aware of and enforce compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements and undertake appropriate action to identify and reduce potential risks on an ongoing basis.
- Attend to other duties as deemed necessary and delegated by Management.
- Assist with ordering of stationery, uniforms, equipment and office supplies

What you’ll bring
- Experience with supervising an office to maintain an organised and optimal administration team and environment.
- Ability to effectively direct and lead by example to promote a productive and harmonious team-based operation.
- Experience dealing with transport subcontractor and customer service queries and disputes.
- Knowledge of transport industry (ideal but not mandatory)
- High level of competency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Strong keyboard skills
