About the Opportunity
As a key member of the In Service Support team based at Naval Base, you will be responsible for providing a level of administration support to a busy service team.
What’s Involved
- Develop and maintain accurate systems and registers as required.
- Provide a level of administration support that fosters an environment of efficiency, accuracy and order of priority, including assisting team members with tasks to achieve team goals.
- Be the first point of contact for department employees and clients.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, plans and reports in line with Austal’s quality standards and project requirements.
- Support colleagues to deliver the team / department goals.
You’ll Need
- Relevant experience working in an administrative/ project support role.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate positively and professionally, both verbally and written
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks/projects.
- High attention to detail and accuracy. Proven high quality output.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
