As an Administration Officer, you'll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. You will:
Manage consumer data entry and maintain compliance with relevant legislation including the Mental Health Act.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and correspondence with professionalism and accuracy.
Respond to enquiries from staff, consumers, carers, and visitors, providing high-quality customer service.
Support team operations through diary management, minute-taking, and document preparation.
Contribute to quality improvement and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork.
About you:
You are an organised, proactive professional with strong administrative and communication skills, ready to support a busy mental health service. You bring:
Experience in reception, secretarial, or administrative roles, preferably in healthcare or community services.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialised health software systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a respectful, confidential, and consumer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
