Administration Officer

About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide efficient and effective client-focused administrative support to the Herston Biofabrication Institute (HBI), contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical, research and operational outcomes.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Apply knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, relevant systems and applications, including S/4HANA, RISKMAN, and eDRMS.
Undertake routine financial and procurement tasks, including ordering, receipting, preparing financial estimates, and raising invoices in accordance with organisational procedures.
Undertake purchasing activities in line with Queensland Health policies and procedures, including use of a corporate purchasing card within approved delegation limits.
Manage diaries and email correspondence, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and preparing supporting documentation.
Coordinate and monitor ICT service requests and maintenance requirements for the work area.
