About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide an efficient Administration Support service to the Emergency Department clinical staff and patients, with a high level of customer service demonstrating empathy, respect, teamwork and compassion. Respond to enquiries and provide information and assistance to staff, patients and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within a hospital setting.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Rotate through various administration positions within the Emergency Department as directed by your Supervisor.
Ability to adapt to change to ensure continuous improvement in processes whilst providing quality care to patients, families and carers.
Effectively communicate with patients, visitors and staff and demonstrate empathy, patience and a positive customer focus, including assisting clinical staff in maintaining patient contact and communication with family and visitors both internally and externally.
