What you’ll do
Bring your admin expertise to a meaningful career as an Administration Support Officer and help deliver life-changing housing services to those who need it most. You’ll make a difference every day by providing efficient, accurate and customer-focused support, helping us meet compliance standards and maintain service excellence.
As an Administration Support Officer, you’ll be a key part of our Housing Programs team, ensuring the smooth running of tenancy and property-related operations and supporting our mission to deliver safe and secure housing. You'll be one of the go-to people for all administrative needs, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
This is a varied role with a real opportunity to use your administrative skills to make a lasting positive difference in the community.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Providing timely, professional administrative support across the Housing Portfolio.
- Creating and maintaining accurate tenant and property records and housing databases.
- Supporting financial administration including accounts receivable, accounts payable, rent assessments and debt management tasks with precision.
- Assisting in the coordination of compliance and reporting documentation.
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in high-quality administrative work, including accurate record keeping and file management.
- Excellent time management, organisation, and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database systems.
- A proactive approach to improving systems and workflows.
- A values-aligned approach and ability to work collaboratively within a purpose-driven team.
We would also love you to have:
- Experience in the Community Housing or Private Rental sector.
