What will you do?
- Review transaction monitoring alerts and assess customer activity for AML/CTF risk indicators and typologies
- Prepare SMRs in line with AUSTRAC guidelines
- Support onboarding and periodic reviews of high-risk customers, ensuring thorough risk assessment
- Collect and verify KYC documentation in collaboration with frontline departments
- Document investigations and decisions clearly in the case management system
- Stay current with AML/CTF regulations and support internal and external compliance audits as needed
More about you
- 1-3 years of experience in AML/CTF, compliance, or financial crime investigation
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, criminology, business, or AML/CTF compliance or a related discipline
- Proven experience working in accordance with AUSTRAC guidance, AML/CTF Act and Rules and AML systems, and familiarity with transaction monitoring, SMR drafting, and KYC procedures
- Ability to obtain a NT Government Casino Operative Licence
- NT Responsible Service of Gaming and NT Responsible Service of Alcohol
- AML certification, preferred
