We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Development Manager to join our dynamic Land Lease Communities team in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a market-disrupting sector with a strong pipeline of projects at various stages of delivery.
Supporting experienced Development Managers you will be working across our portfolio of projects and be responsible for all land, residential and commercial aspects of the projects delivery. This is a diverse and rewarding role that will see you develop your skillset across a range of asset types.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist the Development Manager in scoping, designing, and delivering projects in line with business strategy, vision, and profitability targets.
- Schedule and Budget Management: Support project delivery to meet schedule, revenue, and cost objectives.
- Sales and Marketing: Assist in driving sales and marketing activities to achieve business plan objectives.
- Design Development: Help manage design development and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities.
- Financial Oversight: Control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting.
- Site Monitoring: Participate in site meetings, monitor progress, and follow up on actions.
- Procurement: Assist with the procurement and payment of consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness.
About You
- Educational Background: Degree qualified in a related discipline with relevant experience in planning, property, development, or construction.
- Initiative: A self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Customer Focus: Proven experience in achieving customer-focused outcomes.
- Procurement Knowledge: Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Developed skills in stakeholder management and influencing.
- Resilience: Strong resilience and excellent communication skills.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated commercial acumen.
