Staffing remains stable with 3 Principal class personnel, 3 Learning Specialists, 31.4 EFT Teaching staff, and 9 ES staff, which includes office staff, integration aides, school nurse and maintenance person. This is complemented by the provision of specialist programs that include Mandarin, Physical Education Performing Arts, Visual Arts and STEM and a strong extra-curricular program, including camps, incursions, excursions, special events and interest clubs. Our main professional learning curriculum focus in 2025 was Mathematics. Staff worked with a Mathematics consultant to develop student skills in problem solving. We began staff training in School Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPBS) in 2023 and began the implementation of the Disability and Inclusion Program (DIP) processes in 2022.
In Term 1, 2025 the school underwent School Review with the new Strategic Plan developed in Term 2.

A group of Year 6 students undertake a trip to the Yipirinya School in Alice Springs annually. The Yipirinya School is an indigenous school and enabled us to broaden our students understanding and appreciation for Australian indigenous cultures. Our students participate in a variety of classroom activities, play and experienced a Cultural Day. The trip concludes with a visit to Uluru.
In 2023, we embarked on the creation of a Human Powered Racing Team with the final goal of competing at the Energy Breakthrough event in Maryborough. Energy Breakthrough's values are closely aligned with the school, with a strong focus on STEM, gender equity and sustainability. In the process of creating our Human Powered Racing Team, the staff and students have had to actively engage with our school and local community to access sponsorship and expertise. This program has grown each year since.
Our school Vision and Mission provide a strong basis for ensuring a supportive, safe and positive learning environment for all students.
