- Work location: Customer Service Centre (RCMP), Tempe NSW
- Working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, (occasional after-hours to attend events)
- Pre-employment checks: the final candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment, which includes a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Mobility: a valid driver's license is required for customer visits, trade shows and other events.
- Broad knowledge of the B2B market landscape, especially in SMB segments.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer behaviours (online and offline), and market dynamics.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – you’re a natural connector.
- Ability to prioritise, make decisions quickly, and follow through with impact.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across teams and functions.
- Drive new business acquisition and direct sales through outbound engagement with small-medium business (SMB) customers.
- Be the key point of contact for your customer portfolio, ensuring a seamless and satisfying customer journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Facilitate negotiations and support contract finalisation in collaboration with legal and internal stakeholders.
- Represent IKEA at trade shows and industry events, staying connected to market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
