We are seeking a motivated and reliable Barista to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for coffee and customer service, and is willing to help out across all areas of the café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of high-quality espresso-based drinks and other beverages
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take orders, operate the POS system, and handle payments accurately
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and service as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, including the coffee machine, counters, and dining area
- Replenish stock and supplies as required
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Previous barista experience preferred (minimum 6 months ideal)
- knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as needed
- Food handling certificate or RSA (if applicable) is a plus
