Waverley Council is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Venue Technicians to support the delivery of high-quality technical production services across the diverse performance and event spaces of Bondi Pavilion.

What be you’ll doing?
- Set-up, operate and pack down lighting, audio, AV and staging equipment for a variety of events, performances, exhibitions, and community activities.
- Follow direction from the Technical Officer and interpret technical documentation and production schedules
- Ensure equipment is used safely and appropriately in line with venue procedures
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events as required
- Support wide range of users including artists, hirers, and community groups.
What you’ll bring
- Appropriate tertiary or other qualifications or equivalent experience in technical production, stage management or related fields
- A positive and collaborate working style
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to facilitate complex situations to a positive outcome
- Demonstrated organisational capability, able to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and plan for and meet deadlines
- Ability and willingness to work outside standard business hours including weekends
- Minimum intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft suite and databases
- Class C driver license
