Venue Manager | Newmarket Hotel | Dream big with us!
- A shiny, newly renovated venue with serious potential
- Entertainment-focused venue with room to grow
- $90,000- $115,000 + Bonus + Super
A long standing institution in the heart of Newmarket and just a stone’s throw from the CBD, we’ve had a bit of a glow-up, but don’t worry, the soul’s still the same! We’re the kind of place where belly laughs echo, the parmy’s always hot, and “just five more minutes” is music to our ears.
We’re on the hunt for a Venue Manager who’s got that old school pub passion and knows how to run a joint that locals can’t get enough of. You’ll need a number of years experience leading a Venue, a proven track record across all the key drivers, and the know-how to run an entertainment venue like a true pro.
This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead a dynamic team, build community, and create the kind of place where people come for one beer… and stay for five.
A day in the life of a Venue Manager:
- Act as a role model and a visionary, creating passion and excitement around the guest experience, team development and business initiatives
- Utilise your commercial acumen and strong strategic planning skills to drive the success of your team and Venue
- Empower and equip your team with the knowledge and tools that are required to achieve our high standards across all areas of the venue
- Build a responsible service culture that is centred around fun, passion and authenticity to enable your team and guests to come as they are!
Qualifications
About you:
- You know that passion, planning and problem solving skills are non-negotiables when it comes to nailing the guest experience
- You have great hospitality leadership and operational experience in a multi-faceted venue and love a fast-paced environment
- You hold current industry RSA and RSG qualifications as per state requirements
- RMLV and Approved Managers
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
