Exciting things are ahead – and we’re on the lookout for three up and coming Venue Managers to join us in elevating established well known reputable brands at Sydney Domestic Airport!
Reporting into the General Manager; One role will lead the team at the iconic Slim’s Quality Burger, the second position being the lead for Lotus which is serving dumplings, wine and delicious times, while the other will manage an exciting café concept, Maggio’s. All three are high-impact leadership roles ideal for hospitality professionals who love a fast-paced environment and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

About the Roles
As a Venue Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall operations of your venue – leading your team, driving performance, and ensuring smooth, successful day-to-day service. From people leadership and stock management to compliance, service standards, and financial results – you’ll be the driving force behind a high-performing, guest-first culture.
Whether it’s burgers or baristas, you’ll be part of something dynamic and rewarding.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
- Deliver consistently excellent guest service and product quality
- Drive venue performance – including sales, labour, and stock control
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
- Maintain compliance with food safety, WHS, and licensing standards
- Ensure venue cleanliness, presentation, and team readiness daily
- Act as the primary point of contact for operations and emergencies
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in a hospitality or retail management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Financial and operational acumen – with attention to detail
- RSA required; Food Safety Supervisor certificate desirable
- Hands-on leadership style with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends & public holidays
