GenesisCare currently have a great opportunity for a Clinical Research Administration Assistant to join our WA team, based across both our Fiona Stanley Hospital and Murdoch Oncology Centres in a permanent position, working 4 days per week (days split between sites pending requirements).
As the Clinical Research Administration Assistant, you will provide a broad range of administrative activities to support the GC Research Team in the efficient running of the GC Research Team and trial sites.
More specifically, you will:
- Organise and schedule appointments/meetings, internally and externally, including meeting minutes, as necessary.
- Order and maintain inventory of office and clinical supplies.
- Undertake general administrative duties including booking and confirming participant appointments, contacting GPs and hospital medical records for medical information, letters, scanning and document filing.
- Prepare required study materials including Investigator Site Files, Resource Folder, Participant Files and File Notes at the beginning of each study.
- Assist participants with organising travel arrangements to attend study visits
- Support the Research Finance Analyst and Research Team with Visit & Payment Trackers and other local financial matters as required.
- Have a thorough understanding of Mosaiq booking codes to support the Research Finance Analyst and Research Team with doctor billings and bookings.
- Support the national Research Administration Officer in maintaining all spreadsheets and trackers, including but not limited to, the Education & Training tracker, Sites & Staff log and Archiving register and also with updating the website and share point listings of research projects.
- Support the national Research Administration Officer with maintenance of the Equipment Register and scheduling of regular equipment maintenance/calibration including liaising with local Centre Leads for clinical equipment maintenance records.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in office administration.
- Intermediate understanding of medical terminology.
- Highly proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an effective, pro-active and co-operative manner.
- High level of initiative and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel, if required.
- Flexibility in working times and locations.
