About the Role
Working under the supervision of the Senior Manager Strategy and Channels Communications, the role provides strategic and tactical support to the creation and delivery of integrated communications channels, strategies and programs (incl. internal, external and digital) in line with ANZ Institutional’s strategic agenda and business-as-usual activity.

What will your day look like?
Deliver and support communication channels - for ANZ Institutional, to enhance and protect the reputation of the division/Bank.
Support the implementation of best practice integrated communication programs (includes internal and external, and across geographies) to deliver ANZ Institutional’s strategic agenda, drive employee engagement, and to help us better engage with the stakeholders.
Deliver communication programs to deadline and budget.
Develop communication programs and materials that help employees advocate on behalf of customers and ANZ.
Deliver and support business-as-usual and project related integrated communication strategies.
Work with subject matter experts, relationship managers and customers to develop and deliver content that meets the audiences needs and improves the reputation of ANZ Institutional.
Work collaboratively with Group Communications (including media and social), Marketing and Corporate Affairs on behalf of colleagues and stakeholders.
Collaborate with diverse groups to deliver superior communication outcomes for the organisation.
Act on identified risks and issues by supporting development of mitigations and plans to address them.
Review and measure efficacy of communications activities / channels.
Live all of ANZ’s values and contribute to a positive Culture (including Risk Culture) at ANZ.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Writing content for publications
Editing written documents
Video production skills, including narrative creation, story-boarding, filming and editing.
Web-content creation, including creating social-media posts, creating social media campaigns, and web-page creation
Excellent time management and organisation skills, to manage publication schedules and deadlines.
Attention to detail.
Synthesis, extracting valuable insights and opportunities from data and information collected.
Project management – development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality.
Business acumen to quickly understand an issue and respond to situations in a manner that is likely to lead to good outcomes.
