About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure that BET operates in full alignment with relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practices under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. You will collaborate across departments to manage incident reporting, support risk mitigation, and drive continuous improvement through quality systems and policy development.
Key Responsibility
As our Compliance Coordinator, you will:
- Ensure BET meets its obligations under NDIS Practice Standards and the Code of Conduct.
- Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and regulatory compliance submissions.
- Support the organisation’s risk management strategy and maintain the Risk Register.
- Participate in implementation and review of policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain and monitor Quality Management Systems to support best practice.
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date participant support plans.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to uphold compliance standards.
- Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives across the organisation.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Disability, Health, or a related field essential.
- At least two years’ experience in a compliance, quality, or risk management role (preferably in the disability/community sector).
- Strong understanding of NDIS regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A valid Driver’s Licence
- Flexibility to travel across BET sites as needed
