The Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated Business Development & Sales Manager to drive our growth in the accessible home modification market. This role focuses on bathroom renovations, accessibility upgrades, and home modifications ranging from $20K to $100K for elderly clients and those with disabilities.
Key Focus Areas:
- Bathroom renovations with stepless showers
- Accessibility modifications (ramps, grab rails, wider doors)
- Ceiling hoists and mobility equipment installation
- NDIS home modifications
- General home renovations with accessibility focus
What You'll Do
- Lead Qualification & Conversion: Work with our digital marketing team to contact warm leads generated through our marketing funnel
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their accessibility needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Quoting & Estimation: Prepare detailed quotes for construction works based on your technical knowledge
- Sales Closure: Guide clients through the decision-making process and close deals
- Project Liaison: Work closely with our construction team to ensure smooth project delivery
- Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and NDIS coordinators
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Sales and BDM background working for other builders
- Ideally Construction Trade background in carpentry, tiling, plumbing, or related trades
- Strong understanding of the construction process and building techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with accessibility modifications or aged care construction
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and requirements
- Previous sales or business development experience in construction
- Empathy and patience when working with elderly or disabled clients
