In this exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking to embark on a career in the primary industries sector, including agriculture, horticulture, and trades.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students, their families, and stakeholders, providing a friendly and supportive environment.
- Guide students through the enrolment process, answering their queries, and ensuring a smooth transition into their chosen programmes.
- Promote our brand and educational offerings by connecting with organisations, schools, and the local community through outreach and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Continuously seek opportunities to motivate and inspire students, helping them achieve their educational and career aspirations.
Qualifications
- Outgoing and people-oriented personality with excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written).
- Ability to build rapport with people at all levels and understand diverse student needs.
- Sales/marketing skills, including the ability to ask quality questions, generate leads, and deliver compelling presentations.
- Organisational and time management skills with a results-oriented and goal-driven approach.
- Passion for education and helping people, particularly in the primary industries sector (agriculture, horticulture, trades).
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant computer applications and databases.
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills.
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of the local education landscape and community in Adelaide is an advantage.
