About the role

As a Digital Product Designer, you'll craft digital experiences that help our members achieve their financial goals, from public-facing websites and member portals to mobile apps and digital advice platforms. Working alongside product owners, you'll lead the creative direction of our digital products, creating intuitive design components that align with our broader strategy.
You'll drive innovative design solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams who share your passion for user-centered design. Whether you're working on government initiatives or public offer spaces, you'll be building solutions that actually help people secure their financial future.
This role is a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About you
You're a creative problem-solver with a passion for crafting intuitive digital experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring energy, clarity, and precision to every project you touch. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You have extensive experience in a digital design role or similar, with a strong foundation in user-centred design.
- You understand responsive design inside and out, and you're confident applying accessibility guidelines and usability testing to ensure inclusive experiences.
- You’re skilled with digital design and prototyping tools, especially Figma and Adobe XD, and you know how to bring ideas to life visually and interactively.
- You’ve got a solid understanding of HTML and CSS, which helps you communicate effectively with developers and bridge the gap between design and implementation.
- You’re fluent in native application design, with experience working across both Apple and Android platforms.
- You’ve contributed to or built digital design systems that support consistency and scalability across products.
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in design, multimedia, communications, or a related field.
Bonus if you bring knowledge of the financial and/or insurance services industry, products, and issues.
