Reporting to the Chief People Officer, Nine is seeking a Director, Performance, Remuneration & Reward to shape a high-performance culture. Propelled by a new strategic direction, we're thrilled to be significantly expanding our People and Culture team to champion our evolving business!
In this newly created role, you'll lead a team of experts in designing competitive, equitable frameworks and reward programs that attract, retain, and truly motivate our top talent, all while seamlessly aligning with our values and strategic transformation goals.
Day to day you will:
- Strategically lead the design and evolution of Nine's enterprise-wide remuneration, reward, and performance frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals and transformation
- Provide expert guidance on executive remuneration and incentive schemes, partnering with the CEO, ELT, and People & Remuneration Committee, while ensuring robust governance and compliance (ASX, Corporations Act)
- Drive innovative and competitive total rewards strategies, including variable reward schemes, recognition, and employee benefits
- Lead annual remuneration reviews and market benchmarking, utilising data for evidence-based decisions and effective risk mitigation
- Oversee all remuneration governance, reporting, and disclosure obligations, including Board papers, the Annual Remuneration Report, and gender/DEI disclosures, ensuring transparency and compliance with emerging trends and regulations
Qualifications
You will be a visionary Rewards leader and data-driven strategist who possesses deep expertise in architecting and implementing remuneration, reward, and performance frameworks.
What you’ll bring:
- Expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-wide remuneration, reward, and performance frameworks (ASX-listed/regulated experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management, with proven ability to influence senior executives, Boards, and Remuneration Committees.
- Strong knowledge of executive remuneration, incentive schemes, and total rewards strategy aligned with business performance and shareholder expectations.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance on remuneration philosophy that aligns with values, culture, and transformation.
- Highly data literate, skilled in benchmarking, analytics, and reward modelling.
- Skilled in remuneration governance, pay equity, and risk mitigation in complex environments
- Experience designing competitive employee benefits and recognition programs to enhance EVP.
